Not until my last class today. I got my Japanese test back yesterday and got 100% on both the oral and written tests.

It's not a "french thing" the kisses, it's a European thing. Depending on where you are, you usually will get kissed in Europe. In Italy, for example, you will get three kisses on the cheek. One side then the other side then once more of the first side. Some areas you will get only two some four. It depends.
It's kinda cool actually...
