^ No, it's called alcohol poisoning. If you pass out face down, you can drown in your own vomit. Not a very good way to die.

Actually I believe it's if your face up, that will cause you to choke/drown on your own vomit. Then again you could have one beer (not enough to be drunk), piss off a big biker type guy 'cause you're messin' around with his chick and that could be drunk enough to die!
