This is the background of the so not like me character.
Background: Chinami was born, along with Ayame, to Morgan in Kurain. But their father resented his poor status as a man in a village run by women, and he eventually left, taking his daughters with him. He remarried, but as his new wife already had a daughter (Yuuki) he left Ayame at a shrine and kept only Chinami.
Chinami hated her father, and when she was 14 convinced 20 year old Michiru Onamida to help her in a plot to steal from him and escape the family. The plan was for him to fake kidnap her and hold her for ransom, that being her father's prized sapphire. Her step sister Yuuki was in on the plot as well to help secure the exchange. After Michiru had the jewel, she would run away with him. But when the time came Yuuki betrayed the two of them, and to escape Chinami threw herself into the Godou River (with the sapphire). Her body was never found, and Michiru was tried and convicted for her murder.
Chinami actually washed up on the river bank at Hazakurain, where her sister discovered and nursed her back to health.
Six years later Michiru escaped from prison, and Yuuki Miyanagi was killed. During the course of the trial Chinami appeared under the assumed name Satoko Mukui as a witness, implicating Michiru in the murder. Though Mia, along with Souryuu, pushed "Satoko" as a viable suspect, the trial ended before a verdict could be reached when Michiru drank a vile of poison. As it turned out, he did so under instruction from Chinami, as "proof of their love."
Chinami went free. Six months later she got her revenge on Souryuu by poisoning a cup of his coffee with the same poison that had killed Michiru. The poison vial, which was actually a pendant she wore as a necklace, she handed off to Phoenix so that she wouldn't be caught with it. She intended to kill him later and get it back, but her sister Ayame begged her to spare his life, promising to get the necklace back herself. Chinami waited six months for Ayame to do so, but when she failed, took matters into her own hands and tried to kill Phoenix herself.

Ok Here's my final form. Its some final fantasy guy...think his name is Cait Sith maybe?  See, I'm perfect for shredding small puppets, I have extra sharp claws for that purpose lol. |
