So week 1 has been and gone. It started off with a few days to get to know each other before the first HoH competition. The first HoH was puzzles of veg, BioDork won and initially when he won I weren't best pleased as I hadn't spoken with him so I did think he may have put me up. However, luckily there where others he had also not spoken with and Elizabeth & Leslie were put up. Now, BioDork hadn't spoken with Elizabeth, alex told me that Elizabeth never replies to his PM's and yet Elizabeth seems to be the person I speak with the most.
Anyway, I was fine with the nominations as I was safe. Throughout the week I was PM'ing a fair few people and making conversation, I have spoken with all players through PM now other than chad, Mei and Splatt .... I purposely didn't PM them all as I do need valid excuses if I do win HoH for my nominations. Also, it is a two way thing and none of them have yet to send a PM to me.
So, at the veto competition I was chosen to play and it was a muppets quiz .... I've never seen a single episode of the muppets so I was actually proud to get 8 correct and come in last place.
Anyway, it was between Brennus and Elizabeth and Brennus won it. He kept nominations as they were .... not a shocker. Now once the veto ceremony was up and we had the final 2 nominees, I was convinced that Leslie was going and I cast my vote for her right away as I thought it was an obvious choice due to her not even participating in the veto challenge. However, I got a PM from Dr. Will saying that the majority are voting for Elizabeth so us both had better vote her also so we don't stick out like a sore thumb. It shocked me what he said as I honestly expected a 11-0 with Leslie going home but although it shocked me, I knew there weren't full truth in what he said as he said everyone was voting her and I knew full well they weren't, obviously it was Dr. Will's way of getting me to vote his way and get rid of the threat .... it was too late and also, I weren't willing to vote off somebody I spoke with a fair bit over somebody I had yet to have a conversation with. Peter Parker also said that he was debating voting Elizabeth and he told me that the votes were so far split .... he ended up changing his mind.
So, after hearing everything I knew the eviction would be an interesting one, it was that as Leslie was infact evicted by a vote of 6-5. So close!
Overall, week 1 has been VERY interesting, a lot more interesting than the first week in a BB game usually is. Throughout the week I told alex and come2meok that they were both safe with me for the time being. I also told Elizabeth that she had my vote, this being from when she was first nominated .... I know she's a strong competitior and she's a competitior for the next HoH and me telling her I had her back will hopefully put me in her good books. Now, as I said about Dr. Will and trying to get me to vote out Elizabeth, he is clearly a gameplayer and wants to play the game straightaway and I'm guessing he will be quite sneaky throughout the game and unpredictable. Therefore, I was speaking with him, I brought up having no allies as of yet, he said he didn't and then said it's always great to have one person in a game who is ALWAYS watching your back, I agreed and he's now that person ..... I've allined myself with the person who seems to be the sneakiest thus far, although I keep saying he is sneaky etc just from first impressions, I do 100% intend on keeping that promise and I will have his back untill the end .... obviously it's the first round and we are so far off the end but to have someone who will look out for me no matter what is a great relief and something I always want in a game and I now have. I really think we can work well together. We are gonna have to expand on this alliance and we will have to start talks of that soon but at the end of the day, we are looking out for each other. Also, as I mentioned about people wanting Elizabeth out due to her being a threat .... 5 votes her way, this did kinda make me ''happy'' as I didn't do well atall in the veto so if people were looking at threats in regards to challenges then they won't be looking at me.
So, week 1 has been a gone. HoH #2 will be up at 9 but I won't be online to see it so will have to catch up tomorrow night, hopefully I will still have a shot at it. For this week I plan on carrying on the chat with most of the people, just keep talking as well as speaking more with Dr. Will about our alliance. One more key thing I want to do is really start chatting with Brennus some more, he's clearly a strong player and I want him on side.
