*thinks he is going to have a book about Scarletsville by the time this game is over* -- Too Late Nobody said a word as he entered. He held a white rose close to his chest. He walked up to the woman at the counter. She was surprised as the rose was handed to her. She tried to smile, but it was awkward, forced, sad. The man was confused. Everybody watched as he left, each one remembering the man who had just proposed to her a few minutes earlier. (Word Count: 69) -- Yes, I finally got a 69-word story!

Man's New Best Friend -- The man lay sprawled out on the couch again, his mind more absorbed with the escapades of the people on TV than his own life. His wife walked by, stopped for a moment, imagined herself talking with him, and then shook her head. She knew it would never happen. He was married to that TV. (Word Count: 55) 55 words! Yay! For those that don't know, 69 and 55 are significant numbers in short-story word counts. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_fictionNow all I need is a story exactly 100 words long.
