Ok, I have made it so that anyone who is currently not hosting a game here at RGO, but normally had hosting powers, no longer have hosting powers, but still has access to the Staff board.
If you had access to the Staff board even just a few days ago, but no longer do, then please PM me so I can put you in the appropriate member group.
I have done this so that staff members are free to play games on-site without having to worry about any accusations of power-abuse. I believe all staff members to be trustworthy, but this is a pre-emptive move to avoid anything like that happening.
In the future, if someone is both hosting and playing in a game on-site, then they would not be able to play with the account they're hosting with and measures will be taken to ensure that they are safe from accusations. All boards that they shouldn't get into would be password protected and the only way to get the password would be to modify the board, which would alert me through the Security Log. Once again, I would trust them not to do something like that, but it would be known so that all players could rest easy that I'm keeping an eye on things
