Ok, RGO is growing and I'd like to give other players the opportunity to host games here. Brian posted Hosting Requirements at SEG and I believe that was a very good idea, so I am stealing that idea
First of all, if you would like to host a game, then you must PM this account (this account's username is Jeff, not admin, kingmickey, rdbulldozer, or Leknaat) with your request. Tell me which type of game you would like to host, or have an outline ready for. I would not like two of the same style of game going on at the same time. So, if I am hosting a Survivor game, that means that I will not be looking for a Survivor host.
Because I do not tend to play in games here at the site, I will be asking players in each host's game to tell me how the host did. Players, I hope you all will be 100% honest because if the host did a decent job, then he/she will be free to host games again. At the same time, please do not lie because outside of games, I do not take very kindly to being lied to
Hosting will be based off of senority here, but with one catch: if you just hosted a game and someone else wants to host one, then the next person will be able to. Since at this time, I only plan to have 1 (maybe 2 later on down the road) other hosts at the board at a time, this is to prevent one person from being the only person hosting here other than me. Therefore, no one may host back-to-back games here unless they are the only person asking to host.
To qualify to be a host, from the time of this post, the only requirement for members is that they must have participated in at least one game. Any member who registers at RGO after this post, must wait a year before they qualify to be a host. Also, you must have a minumum of 2 RGO games played in.
Other than myself, there have been two players who have hosted here at RGO. JP was the first person, while lovetrivia was the second. They hold senority when it comes to hosting.
Remember, PM to this account. Otherwise, I may lose your request. Also, it helps me keep everything in order.
Cohosting is allowed, but both hosts must meet the requirements.
