This is an open competition to become the Graphics Coordinator for this summer's game Saw: The Official ORG being hosted by Yang at RGO.
Requirements If Chosen:
-Make artistic representations of all Saw traps used in the game
-Provide any other artwork needed throughout the game
-Need to be trusted to keep any secrets just that...secrets.
-Must be easily reachable in case Yang needs you for something (Yang will always give fair notice if he needs something done).
Perks:
-Boost in reputation as someone with graphics skills
-Better hone your graphics skills
-Exclusive access to all twists and secrets of the game before anyone else
-Receive all credit for any artistic work done on the game
-Get your name out there more
-Be an integral part of the staff for a hopefully fun and exciting game
One drawback however, is that by accepting this job as Graphics Coordinator, you will not be eligible to compete in the game itself, but you will be part of the staff along with the Host (Yang), and the Audio/Video Coordinator (Dr. Thrills).
The Task:
You will need to create a banner for this upcoming game. The best banner as decided by Yang will win the job of Graphics Coordinator.
The Banner:
Imagine a rectangular 2D box, Yang will fill this box in with what he is looking for as a banner and it is your job to make the best banner according to these specifications if you would like to become Graphics Coordinator.
In the upper left hand corner, Yang would like a picture representing The original Saw movie (can be anything you feel represents that movie, does not necessarily have to be a picture from the movie as long as it represents it well).
In the upper right hand corner, Yang would like a picture representing Saw 2 (can be anything you feel represents that movie, does not necessarily have to be a picture from the movie as long as it represents it well).
In the lower left hand corner, Yang would like a picture representing Saw 3 (can be anything you feel represents that movie, does not necessarily have to be a picture from the movie as long as it represents it well).
In the lower right hand corner, Yang would like a picture representing Saw 4 (can be anything you feel represents that movie, does not necessarily have to be a picture from the movie as long as it represents it well).
Put a black outline around each of these pictures and the entire banner itself. Now make a box using the 4 corners of the pictures (size them all the same if possible). This box would be in the center of the banner of course and should have a black outline like the rest of the boxes.
Inside this box, Yang would like a picture representing Saw 5 (can be anything you feel represents that movie, does not necessarily have to be a picture from the movie as long as it represents it well).
Also inside this box underneath the picture, Yang would like the words " The Game Has Just Begun" in whatever font or color you think fits best with the banner as long as it is legible.
Lastly, with the way these boxes are set up, it will create 4 other boxes (one on the top, 2 sides, one on the bottom). Yang would like the name of the game displayed in these boxes in this manner...
Box 1 (top box): Type the word "SAW" in red letters with a white background.
Box 2 (left side): Type the word "THE" in red letters with a white background.
Box 3 (right side): Type the word "OFFICIAL" in red letters with a white background.
Box 4 (bottom box): Type the word/acronym "ORG" in red letters with a white background.
That is the blueprint for the banner Yang would like, if you can think of any other details that would enhance the banner beyond these details, then feel free to add them as only the best banner will win the Graphics Coordinator job and be used for the game.
How to Win: Simply submit your representation of the proposed Saw banner to Yang via PM.
Deadline: You will have 1 week to submit your banner to Yang via PM, at that point Yang will choose the winner. So you have until Next Thursday at 4:39AM EST. At that time the submission period will close.
