There will be NO elimination this round, tho I will declare a winner and offer a advantage to that winner.
On to my results!
I only received 4 submissions. I honestly have no clue how many were still playing.
Its funny that I came up with camping as a theme. I had suggested something else (cant remember now what it was. Jason liked camping more so we went with that.) One thing that I do NOT like to do (other than cook) is camp. The uncomfortable sleeping, the bugs, the difficulty cooking.....camping = yuck for me! lol So I went with yum factor here...hopefully someone else will cook if I camp!
Lilytiger.....I loved the simplicity of your recipes. Ziplock bags! For nearly everything! lol So that means, make a lot before camping so eating while camping is less stressful for me. bravo Lilytiger.
Dont like beans, dont like beer. Dont like coleslaw. Dont like spinach. Dont like cold pasta. Hate all seafood except tuna. Loved the steak, LOVED the Homemade Reeces Peanut Butter Crackers which we WILL be trying hopefully next weekend!
I wouldve starved on this camping trip....sorry.
Cybergrl.....Loved how you labeled/numbered each step. Pictures were wonderful. Included the shopping list.
Dont like onions though I like the flavor. Like mandarin oranges tho I dont like salad. Would like to try the Hush puppies. Dont like Pesto. Thumbs up for the Tuna Mac n Cheese, the Hobo Stew and the Fire Pit Sundaze (which I plan on trying very soon....over a backyard grill!)
Kathleen....you cracked me up! You were very creative with some made up recipes. I honestly would try the rice and hotdog soup. LOVED the fruit salad idea since I do not like regular salad, and fruit is yummy when its hot outside! Roasted hotdogs and sausages is very fitting for camping tho MORE hotdogs??? lol Mac n cheese again..cool. Dont like salmon. Roast pork...YUMMY! Store bought cake (with an icecream option)...boring. Got a huge kick out of your shopping list....nothing there except about 4 gallons of ice cream! LOL
PhantomJ.....YIKES! This would be an extra car of ingredients alone! lol LOVED the chili recipe...had NO beans! Kudos to you. Tho soo many ingredients..would have to make most at home. Warm potatoe salad...just recently found a slight liking to it. Bison nachos? Bison? Really?? Im not rich dude and that seems like it would be..tho it sounds wonderful. Will come back to the pasta dish... Dont like trout. Tangy BBQ chicken...nice tho not a chickent fan.. Dutch Oven Apple Crisp a la mode...another dessert I must try!
The Barbecue Spaghetti! OMG This reminds me of a joke my husband always says to slam me a bit. Why dont Italians like to barbecue? Because the spagetti always falls through the grates. LOL
PhantomJ I WILL be making the recipe. I was shocked to see it. Does it really exist or did you make it up?
Anyways those are my comments. I thank you for your recipes. You all did a great job. I have to go with what I would most likely eat the most.
