Pride Card Challenge--Round 3 begins

Ok, this challenge is called

"I can do better..."

and is all about pride and very very similar to the challenge "I Can" (with the watermelons) from RW vs RR: The Duel.

So here is how it will work, we will have individual matchups of 1 on 1 bouts where the victor moves on and the loser is out. Last one left gets the pride card.

What do you do?

Well each of you will get your own "versus" thread for your "bouts" and you will be competing to see who can post more in a certain amount of time.

For round 1 it is who can make more posts in 1 minute.

So here is the style/structure....

Player 1 would say something like "I can make 1 post in 1 minute"

Player 2 would then say "I can make 5 posts in one minute"

Player 1 "I can make 10 posts in one minute"

Player 2 "I can make 20 posts in one minute"

Player 1 says "Do It"

Then because Player 1 has challenged player 2 to do that, player 2 must then make 20 posts in one minute. If player 2 is able to do this, then player 1 is out...but if they can't do it then player 2 is out instead.

Make sense? Basically it is sort of a game of strategy as well and you want to make someone "do it" when you don't think that they can do what they said they could.

Stipulations:
1. You are only allowed to go back and forth 4 times each (meaning player 1 can claim that they can do 1 post, then player 2 claims something, and then player 1, and so on until 8 posts total are there...at that time, if it gets to that, then the player who posted last automatically has to do what they said they could.

2. You can obviously only increase the amount of posts you can do...sort of like an auction

3. If someone says "Do It" then you must make your posts in a timely fashion or else you are in danger of being disqualified.

4. Round 1 will have 1 person receiving a bye at random, round 2 will be 3 matches, and then round 3 will have the final 3 all pitted against each other (specific rules for that round will be there when it comes)

Special Note: If your opponent doesn't show up and post in the allotted time, you will automatically win (same goes for if they do not do their posts after you tell them to do it). Also, if neither player shows up, then both will be eliminated (thus we could have less than 3 rounds depending on who shows up).

Official Change:

Instead of 1 minute, we will do "X amount of posts in 4 hours" So 4 hours is the time limit to do your posts in.

Keep in mind that from the first post you make in that thread after someone says "do it" your timer starts for the 4 hours. So be careful and do not post anything in that thread after you are challenged unless it is part of completing your "challenge"

Ok, here are the Round 1 winners...

Round 2....this time we will reduce it to how many posts you can do in....2 hours for a change of pace.

Remember, 36 hours time limit....how many posts you can do in 2 hours...and up to 8 exchanges (Yang raised it since this is a more crucial round).

Round 2 is complete.

Cybergrl defeats Panzer.

Kathleen defeats Rod in another upset.

and Danny defeats Dexter...explanation: you both went through your 8 posts each with Danny having the final post of those exchanges where he posted he can do 17 posts. Then automatically Danny must do that, which he completed that task and thus he is the winner here since he completed what he was challenged to do. Dexter did not officially challenge him, but Yang explained that after those exchanges, it becomes an automatic challenge.

Now for our final Round.

You 3 want to try very hard for this, because its a very valuable card.

Danny vs. Kathleen vs. Cybergrl.

For the final round, we will have unlimited exchanges and you must do your posts in a shortened time of 90 minutes (an hour and a half).

Now since it is a 3 person match, the structure will work a bit differently. You will go about the challenge as normal posting "I can do ___" and when someone says "do it" you do that number of posts. If you fail, you are out, but if you succeed the person who challenged you is out.

The difference is that it will be more elimination style because after 1 person falls, then it becomes one on one. However, once it becomes one on one, the 2 competitors must start at atleast half the total of what was previously attempted.

In other words, if Danny says he can do 30 and Kathleen tells him to do it...he succeeds, Kathleen is out. Then it is down to Danny and Cybergrl, but when they say "I can do ___" the number of posts they start at can be no lower than 15 which is half of the 30 Danny was previously challenged to do.

Also, it will not be acceptable for someone to just sit back and wait for one of the other 2 to go out. Therefore, you must post actively. Yang will not set a definitive time limit on this, but he will be looking for about once every 6-12 hours at the least depending on how much the competition is posting as well as other factors. Yang reserves the right to DQ one of you if he determines that one of you is deliberately trying to let the other 2 take each other out by sitting there and not posting.

I had zero time to actually make good on my bet, once again another unbelievably difficult to understand and unfair challenge. Ugh.

She posted in the middle of the night when I was sleeping and the deadline was at 6AM. I'm sorry that's a bit unreasonable to ask people to wake up in the middle of the night or get up at the crack of dawn to make this challenge. Kathleen is in college, I work for a living.

kathleen also gets up at 6am to attend university classes, which would be 5 am in the US, well most of it...as a Canadian Sophmore Attending a University it's a bit difficult to arrange a time that suits you....and if that's how i got it cuz that's when i had time that's how i got it...why don't you just take it like a man and move on? it's not like you lost immunity or something....geez....

Congrats Danny, you have won 1 of the 2 most powerful cards in play (the other being the wrath card which is unowned still).

Next Immunity Challenge is Tuesday (or Monday depending how you view it) at 1:00AM EST.
This is because it is too short notice to do it tomorrow and on Monday is Yang's busiest day where he is not free form 9AM all the way to midnight when he gets done work.
