Ok, welcome _____ tribe to your 12th immunity challenge and first as a merged tribe. Yang says ____ tribe because you haven't yet called yourselve anything. Yang still only has 2 votes based on the choices you all used, so if by the end of this callenge a decision hasn't been made, then Yang will pick one of the choices himself and that name will be final.
Ok, this challenge is fairly easy and is similar to the "before and after challenge" earlier in the game.
It is called...."Fact or Fiction".
Yang will make a series of statements, and you will simply have to decide whether they are fact, or fiction.
You will receive one point for each correct answer, BUT
there is also a secret code bonus at the end. This is a 10 point bonus and you get it by cracking the secret number code (instructions for what each of the numbers are will be given after the questions are listed)
The one with the most points wins.
Fact or Fiction?
1. There are only 2 NFL teams that lost their first four appearances in the superbowl.
2. Seth Baxter is one of Jigsaw's victims in the Saw franchise.
3. Walter Cheng is the one who names the creatures in the movie series Tremors as "Graboids".
4. Kate Austen kills the character "Ethan" in the show "LOST".
5. The Colorado Avalanche have won the Stanley Cup before.
6. There was once a $200 dollar bill in circulation (in the US).
7. In the show "Jericho" Skeet Ulrich plays a character named "Jake".
8. As of today, there are 3 movies about the character "Jason Bourne" played by Matt Damon.
9. Robin Williams was the star of the "Home Alone" franchise.
10. Bunky (from big brother) played in season 2 of the show.
11. Burton (from survivor) played in the same season as Rupert Grint.
12. In the first year that Tampa Bay was a part of the NFL, they won just one game.
13. In Survivor Yucatan at RGO, Dr. Will finished higher than Yang.
14. Yang has never won a game
15. Andy Reid is the owner of SEG.
16. The 1998 movie "Armageddon" is about an asteriod potentially destroying earth.
17. Joe Montana is the only 3 time Superbowl MVP in the history of the NFL.
18. "The Monroe Doctrine" is named after former U.S. President James Monroe.
19. Gerard Butler plays in the movie "300".
20. In the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, one of the main characters is a man named "John".
Those are your 20 Fact or Fiction questions.
Now, to bust the code, there are 4 numbers in it. Each number is found in a different way. Here is how you get each number...
The first number is found by taking the total number of questions and dividing that by the number of "facts" or true answers.
The second number is found by taking the number of "facts" and multiplying them by the number of "fictions".
The third number is found by taking the total number of questions and dividing that by the number of "fictions" or false answers.
The final number is found by taking the number of people who have gone out of this game, adding it to the total number of questions, then dividing that by 2, and multiplying it by the number of facts ONLY in the first half (so first 10 questions) of the questions.
Note: decimals are fine...for example, if you had 7/2..then 3.5 is perfectly acceptable, Yang didn't say these numbers had to be nice integers.
Remember, thats 10 extra points (worth one half of the questions to put it in perspective) if you can crack the code.
You have 36 hours to do this challenge. Worst of luck!
