It has come down to this.
Danny Gokey, Dexter, and Garrett.
Whoever wins this immunity will guarantee themselves a spot in the finals, but will also have the tough decision of choosing our final juror.
After so much time in hell, you have probably come up with your own definition of the place.
This challenge is called "Define Hell, Define Pain, Define Your Game"
It is sort of 2 parts but the first part is only ceremonial.
First part is a classic rite of passage, each of you must post your own rite of passage in your confessional. Just in case any of you don't know, all you do is start with the first person who went out, then second, and so on all the way to Rod who most recently went out. You say a few words about each person and what your thoughts are of them, what first comes to mind when you hear their name, how they played the game or something like that.
The order in the VOL lounge and Hell's Council is the order each person placed in the game so just follow that order (meaning the first person listed went out earliest).
That part is easy and again is more of a ceremonial part, however, if you don't do that part then you automatically forfeit the final immunity. It really doesn't take too long, and personally Yang always enjoys doing them when he plays in games.
Now, this challenge is going to be about outwilling your 2 opponents as the last few immunities often are.
Yang is not going to set a bar for any of you though, you are all going to set bars for each other.
Here is how it will work.
First you must all make your definitions based on this game.
So you post IN THIS THREAD what you feel Hell is after experiencing this game, what you think pain is, and what you believe your game to be or represent.
You will have up to 24 hours to post this.
Then after every person has posted, you will begin challenging each other.
You will challenge each other in this thread trying to keep your challenges based on the person's definitions. For example: If Danny says he believes his game represents one of total honesty and integrity, then Yang might challenge that by asking him tough questions to see if he answers honestly or not (in something like this, he would have to PM Yang his true answers just so Yang could verify that they match).
Or lets say Garrett says he thinks hell is having to do a posting challenge, then Yang would make him do some sort of posting challenge.
It isn't required that you challenge them based on what they say, but if you can then it would just help keep the spirit of the challenge alive which is essentially breaking your own barriers. Yang ideally wants you all to set barriers for yourselves and then be challenged to break them.
Now these challenges can pretty much be anything, it can be a posting challenge, a picture challenge, a math puzzle, a grid puzzle, flash game, etc.
If someone challenges you, and you don't complete their challenge, then you lose this immunity challenge.
However, Yang is not encouraging you all to make impossible challenges for each other, that is not the spirit of this. Each challenge should ideally be something that can be completed in 30 minutes max. You need to be careful about this because if Yang feels you are making a challenge that is too difficult to be completed (just for a random example, lets say you give them a flash game and challenge them to beat a certain score on it but that score seems far out of the reach of what is possible) then Yang will deny that challenge and the person will not have to do it, but not only that, Yang will make the challenge just a bit more difficult and force the person who issued the challenge to complete it instead (and if they fail, they would be out). Yang knows you are all competing, but please be fair competitors and don't try to challenge someone to do something that is impossible. That is why Yang needs to have this rule.
Now, what if you complete your challenge? Then thats great, you stay in and are allowed to challenge someone else to do something (however, it doesn't have to be you making the challenge, when a challenge is completed anyone can issue a new one. In fact, more than one challenge can be going on at a time AS LONG AS EACH PLAYER IS ONLY DOING ONE CHALLENGE. So there could be a max of 3 challenges being carried out at once if all 3 players are trying to do one).
Now, if you successfully complete 3 challenges then you can not be challenged any further
The winner of immunity will be the last one standing. Meaning the last one left who didn't lose at a challenge.
If all 3 players lose at challenges, then the person who successfully completed more will win, if this is still tied then the person who most recently failed their challenge will win, and if somehow still tied then the winner will be whoever completed their challenges in the fastest time.
If more than one player is still standing, then whoever completed their challenges the fastest will win. For an example: Lets say Yang challenged Danny to do something and he finished 1 hour later. Then he gets challenged again and finished 2 hours later. Then he gets challenged again, but wasn't around when he was challenged so he finishes 6 hours later. His total challenge completion time would be 9 hours.
So whoever had the shortest time would win.
Note: All challenges should be completed in a timely manner. If someone is stalling or just not doing their challenge then Yang reserves the right to impose a time limit on said challenge.
You have 24 hours to post the Definitions (the rites of passage just have to be completed by the end of the entire challenge)
Then you will have up to 48 hours for the rest (depending on how things are running, Yang hopes we can do it quickly and in 24 hours but he knows it is around the holidays and is prepared to be leniant and give sufficient time).
If you have any questions then by all means ask them. Yang knows this is a mouthful and if you are concerned with something then bring it up right away because if you see some big flaw with this challenge then Yang will fix it promptly if brought to his attention.
Worst of Luck, Yang
