1. Do you have a certain strategy in mind?
JP: I plan on being two-faced in this game. Friendly on the outside, competitive on the inside.
2. Any rivalries developing, yet? If so, with who? Care to share why?
JP: No, there are no rivalries so far. I haven't talked to other people yet, and I don't have rivalries with people who I already know that are playing this game.
3. On the flipside, do you have any alliances at this point?
JP: Wow. I don't think we're prepared! We haven't got any alliances I think. We'll do that later.
4. How well do you expect to do in this race?
JP: We're going to win this Race.
5. How long have you known your partner?
JP: I have known Heather since TAR5 I think, so more than a year now. Online of course. But we know how the other looks like.
6. What are your strengths?
JP: Because of my work as a web developer, I am online almost 8 hours a day. I also go online for about 1 to 2 hours at home. I believe my availability to be online when the clue goes up is one of my strengths that will help us to win. I am also a smart and logical person. I love solving problems. That will definitely help us to finish each leg faster than the other teams.
7. What are your weaknesses?
JP: I have a temper. I tend to blow off when I don't get what I want. I also kind of gather enemies in every game I play so I won't be surprised if we get a few enemies in this Race. Another weakness is I live in a different timezone than most of the Racers, so there will be times when I won't get to be online, but I'm hoping Heather will help me on that one.
8. What do you believe your partner's strengths are?
JP: Heather is a smart girl. She's quick, and she's funny. She's very dedicated in everything that she's doing, and she's able to finish a task without anyone's help. She's also very friendly, and I trust her friendliness with other teams will save us from being Yielded.
9. What do you think your partner's weaknesses are?
JP: She still goes to school! So she might not be online when the clue is put up. Her Internet time is also limited. I have yet to see her online in the morning on a school day. But I guess we compliment each other, because there are times when I'm online and she's not, or she's online and I'm not. I'm confident her weakness will not cost us the Race.
