Leg 4 -- Interview

[JP]

1. How do you feel you did this round?
JP: We did awesome! Everything went right. We got the first flight, we did the tasks the fastest. It was a great feeling and we deserve to be number one this leg.

2. In what ways do you think you can improve?
JP: Again, I believe some things just come down to luck. We have the strength and smarts to win this race, all we need is a little luck on the Final Leg.

3. Are you developing any alliances/rivalries, yet?
JP: Wow, you know, we (or at least I hehe) still don't have any alliances. I think there's a rivalry between every team. None of us wants to be eliminated at this part of the Race. However, I did hear Heather and Aaron are close so maybe they have an alliance that she's not telling me.

4. Who do you think your biggest competition is?
JP: Steve and Stevey. They may not be doing great every leg, but I have a feeling they have the potential to win.

5. Do you think Josh and Sally can overcome their penalty this round?
JP: Honestly, I hope they get eliminated. It's one step closer for Heather and I to the Final 3 if they're out of the way.

6. How is this race affecting your relationship with your partner?
JP: I am getting to know her a lot better. I am seeing what her strengths and weaknesses are. You know, it's a surprise that we're friends when it seems like we have totally opposite personalities! I guess that's the reason why we're doing great in the race, because our personalities complement each other.

[Heather]

1. How do you feel you did this round?

Heather : Finally, we got number one. It was beginning to get annoying, with my bad luck with flights. It was just awesome.

2. In what ways do you think you can improve?
JP: Again, I believe some things just come down to luck. We have the strength and smarts to win this race, all we need is a little luck on the Final Leg.
Heather : I agree. You really can't improve much in a race like this... it's all luck.

3. Are you developing any alliances/rivalries, yet?
JP: Wow, you know, we (or at least I hehe) still don't have any alliances. I think there's a rivalry between every team. None of us wants to be eliminated at this part of the Race. However, I did hear Heather and Aaron are close so maybe they have an alliance that she's not telling me.
Heather : Heh. Aaron and I did work together on that roadblock some, but I wouldn't really call it an alliance. When I comes down to it, I'd definitely yield him if I had to.

JP: Steve and Stevey. They may not be doing great every leg, but I have a feeling they have the potential to win.
Heather : You might be surprised, but I'd say Cricket and Lovetrivia. They might not be race experts but they sure know enough to stick around.

5. Do you think Josh and Sally can overcome their penalty this round?
JP: Honestly, I hope they get eliminated. It's one step closer for Heather and I to the Final 3 if they're out of the way.
Heather : Well first, they'd have to show up. I haven't seen them around much. But hey, one less team to worry about.

Heather : Well they do say opposites attract, JP. lol But I think we are getting to know each other better... and we aren't going to hate each other after the race. lol
