Welcome to your eighth Chain Break Ceremony. It is here that your relationships and strategies will be tested. Each cycle, we will assemble to see who the strong links are and who the weak links are. One by one, you will be broken off of the chain until one of you remains.

This is Basic Week. That means you cannot pick the person that you picked last week.

We will begin with the Chain Leader making his first selection.

I hate this decision...Thomas and Alex are such good players and good friends, I hate to be the one to eliminate one of them. This is a tough position to be in.

Argh.

I'm sorry Thomas...but I have to go with Alex.
