General Overview
The core of this game is still a Survivor game. We will start off in the Tribal Stages of the game where two or more tribes (depending upon my outline) compete against one another in Rune Challenges and Immunity Challenges (Rune Challenges will be explained later). The tribe(s) that loses the Immunity Challenge must go to Tribal Council and vote out a player. Once we reach a certain point in the game, the tribes will merge and the game becomes individual. The Rune and Immunity Challenges become individual and all players attend Tribal Council each round to vote out players until we reach the finals where the jury will vote between the finalists to declaire a winner.
Runes
There are 5 main Runes that the players can choose from when they sign up for the game: Fire, Earth, Lightning, Water, and Wind. Each Rune has a different effect when the players use it.
Fire - 50% chance of slightly damaging the score/performance of all other tribes (Tribal Stages) or players (Individual Stages).
Earth - The player's tribe cannot be negatively affected by Runes for one round in the Tribal Stages and the player and up to 2 other players of the Rune Bearer's choice cannot be negatively affect by Runes in the Individual Stages of the game.
Lightning - 70% chance of moderately damaging the score/performance of one other tribe (Tribal Stages) or player (Individual Stages)
Water - Very slightly improves both the time and the score of the Rune Bearer's tribe (Tribal Stages) or the Rune Bearer and up to 2 other player's of the Rune Bearer's choice (Individual Stages).
Wind - 60% chance of slightly delaying the official logged times of all other tribes (Tribal Stages) or players (Individual Stages).
The exact affects of each Rune can will be revealed when each challenge comes up. There will be certain challenges that certain Runes will not be able to affect because of the nature of the challenge. When it comes to the Runes with percentages that affect multiple targets, the percentages work for each individual unit affected. For example, say there are 5 targets and you are using the Fire Rune. I will use a probability generator to determine for each target whether or not the Rune affects them. So, the Rune could end up affecting 3 out of the 5 targets if the probility generator comes back that those targets get affected by the Rune.
Each Rune can be used only once per game. This does not mean that only one Fire Rune will be used per game, but that when you get a Fire Rune, you can only use it once before you no longer have the Rune anymore. Other players may still have the Fire Rune and they can still use it their one time.
Each player may only use one Rune per round. If they have collected more than one Rune in their possession through the use of Rune Challenges, they still may only play one Rune per round.
Runes cannot be used past the Final Five.
Rune Challenges
Along the way there will be Rune Challenges where players can earn other types of Runes to use in the game. For the most part, Runes Challenges will be individual (even in the Tribal Stages). The Rune that is up for grabs and its affects will be announced at each Rune Challenge. Just like the other Runes, these Runes can only be used once and are generally only in affect for the round that the player won the Rune. However, there are times where it will act as a basic Rune in that the player can hold onto it and decide when to play the Rune.
Some Runes in the Runes Challenges will be allowed to be used in conjunction with other Runes you may have. However, I will announce when the exemption to the "no two Runes in one round" rule is in effect.
Other
The general board rules are still in effect. Basically, don't flame other members. Arguements are fine, but flaming is not.
There will be only 24 hours for each challenge unless otherwise stated and 48 hours for voting. I will always do my best to give you 24 hours notification of when a challenge will be up.
Votes cannot be changed after cast at a Tribal Council.
As always, I reserve the right to change/add to the rules as the game goes. I will not do this to affect the outcome of the game in any way, but I reserve the right in the event that there is something that I have overlooked in the rules.
