Every once in a while I may post a challenge here for the teams to participate in. This is a chance to add additional points to your teams score, for those of you who just aren't having any luck at predicting. They will all have 24 hour due dates when posted.

Team Generosity

Hopefully you have been chatting with some other teams!

For this challenge, you all have a total of 8 points.. wouldn't it be great if you could keep them?

You must give ALL your points to a different team. If you fail to reach an agreement by Sunday night at 8 PM EST, your points will be disposed, and you will be uneligible to receive any points.

You must officially post which team you choose to give the points to in your confessional.

The amount of points you received will be told in private in your confessional and added to your totals.

EDIT: Every person has 8 points. They will give those 8 points to a team. So really, each team has 16 points to give out.

Your next batch of questions will be posted at the due date for this challenge.

The Impossible Quiz

Yes, the painful 'impossible quiz' is the extra challenge. Complete this and post a screenshot in your team confessional. Each person that does this will contribute 50 points to their team score. Your screenshot must include the taskbar so I can tell that it is really your own. So each team can get up to 100 points.

The Greedy Team

Welcome to your third extra challenge. This challenge is a lot more important than the others for one simple reason. Based solely on the results of it, one team will be eliminated.

Heres how it will work. Your team must post a number between 1-100 in your journal for this challenge. The amount you post is the amount of points you will receive. But be careful, because the team that puts the HIGHEST number will be packing their bags. So if you feel confident and just want to stay in, you might want to just do 0.. but think carefully before doing so, as the team that posts the lowest amount of points will be losing 50 points from their total score.

Good luck everyone, and think about how much is enough. You have until Sunday at 1 PM EST to post the amount in your team confessional.

The Cryptogram

This challenge can be won by anyone.. it just takes some thinking.



For those who are unfamiliar with these, each number under a blank space represents a letter. The goal is to find the hidden phrase. It is BIG BROTHER related. Once you find the phrase, use two of the words put together in LOWER CASE letters to find the password to the sub-board created. Post in one of the prize threads inside to add points to your teams score.

You have until 8 PM EST tomorrow night to complete this challenge.

Both teammates may claim a prize, only one person can claim a prize, and you cannot claim more than one.

DoctorThrills' Gifts

Welcome to the next extra challenge.. and another chance for anyone to get some extra points for week 4. For this challenge, you can choose as many numbers to put in order in your journal 1-20. 9 contain positive numbers, 9 negative numbers. 1 contains an "elimination" and 1 contains a "back to 0". In your journals, put as many of the numbers 1-20 in a list. All boxes 1-20 have a predetermined amount of points in them, it's just a matter of which you choose and when you decide to stop taking them.

For example:
Bob participates in the challenge. He decides he is only going to open 5 gifts. In his journal, he puts this:

14
12
8

Those are his five numbers. The host will then reply with the results of his choices.

19 (+5) = 5
6 (-9) = -4
14 (back to 0) = 0
12 (+8) = 8
8 (elimination) = no points, eliminated.

This game is a matter of luck and risk.
The elimination is from the challenge, NOT from the game

You have until Tuesday night @ 9:00 PM EST to put your choices in your journal.

Pony.. or points?

Welcome to your week 5 challenge. This one is quite simple, it's an opportunity to choose a new pony. But of course, you have options, and each has a negative and a positive..

You can either pick
CHANGE PONY- You may pick a new pony. From this point forward, your pony staying in the game will be worth 30 POINTS each week. But, by changing your pony, you will lose 60 points, meaning you will lose points equivelant to a zonk this week if your new pony stays in the house.

GAIN POINTS- Instead of receiving a new pony, you may dispose of your current pony and receive 0 points for your pony pick each week.. but by doing so, you will gain 60 points, which could give you that boost you need to continue in the game.

Post your decision in your journal within 48 hours from now. If you do not post your decision, you will lose your pony with no added benefits.

YES, you must make a choice, you may not continue on with your current pony or pick a new one without paying the price.

Sacrifice for points

What are you willing to do to get some more points? For each of the following below, choose either YES or NO. Each that you choose may have to be performed.

Sit out the next challenge. (+20 points)
Get 30 points this week, lose 40 points next week. (+30)
Not send in your picks next week. (+50 points)
Be out of the running for the power of zonk next week. (+15 points)
Lose 50 points now, but gain 20 points for 3 weeks. (-50)
Say yes for 20 points (+20)

Picking Sticks

For this extra challenge, you will be versing one other person. Three of you will get extra points, three of you will not. I will make 3 boards titled "player vs. player", and in each the post will say "21 sticks remain". You will take turns with your opponent taking sticks, the goal is to get the last sticks against your opponent. Each round you can take 1, 2 or 3 sticks. Each time you post and take some, post after with how many are left.

Ex: Yin takes 3 sticks, 18 remain.
Goltemis takes 1 stick, 17 remain.

The 3 winners will get 50 points each, the 3 losers will get no points. Good luck!

Extra #10: Handwriting


FINAL EXTRA CHALLENGE

To get 100 extra points, use paint or some type of drawing program to write all survivors names from seasons 1-16, if they were in 2 seasons, put them twice. Make lists underneath the name of the seasons. More than one picture is acceptable. Print screen to get the picture and upload it to tinypic or photobucket and use the bracket code to post it in your journals. Have fun!
