Answer: Green Bay Packers and New York Giants Everyone who submitted was correct. :-) Birdman was the first to send a correct answer - you are safe! Nurse Joy was the last to submit a correct answer - you are safe! The random number chosen for this round was 8 which would have put Flo, the eighth to send in danger of leaving. But, Sadly, I found no answers in my inbox from cricket and Carissa so they are eliminated from this round of the game. Raymond told me on Sunday when he sent Round 1 answer that he was going to be away, which was very late notice. I tried to have a round up before he was going away and he thought he might have computer access, but it did not work out.  So I have no answer from Raymond. While typing up results around midnight, Jason sent his correct answer very late. I can't accept it. Raymond and Jason are eliminated in this round, too. Say good bye to 4 friends this round. |

(It roughly said "the host was playing favorites to yang" and that Cyber thought both she and Yang should have been eliminated for being late last round.
Cybergrl - you made a post here which I thought I quoted to reply to and when I posted , only my post you now see below appeared here.
I don't remember your exact sentence - you can modify it at the top here. I apologize.
If cybergrl wants to modify this back to what she said and take out all of mine, that's fine.

Yang's situation was much different. He was one minute late and was on the board for 30-45 minutes before sending. It was obvious what his intentions were about being last, but his computer froze up and his stamp came 1 minute late. All the rest were clearly just sending late whereas Yang was waiting and trying to be last. Notice how Yang tried to be first instead this round (he lost by 1 minute to birdman)?
Nonetheless, the decision was already made...

"The Host" will never play favorites in a game. Hosts do have to make judgment calls, and what Yang described was the true situation - I took into consideration a computer freezing, because I did see him waiting here to send to try to be last. He knew there was a chance of him leaving. I then advised him not to wait that long and take that risk again. I made a judgment call - you may not agree with it. You may be right on what I "should have done." I stand by my decision.
Any submissions one minute or more late and no submissions: players will be eliminated.
The thread will be locked soon. Those of you posting about the decision I made in round 1 have "disagreements" outside this game I think, too. So please, let's drop it.
