There was a challenge at about F7 or F8 that had to do with getting as much karma as we could. According to Yang, you helped him out by creating multiple accounts to give him positive karma. Therefore, when an e-mail is sent out, every account that had your e-mail address on it would receive an e-mail and apparantly, there are 36 accounts at this site with your e-mail address on them.

If you did not register them, then I would suggest changing your e-mail password because the only way you can receive e-mails from the site is by activating your account through your e-mail, so someone with access to your e-mail account had to have activated all of those accounts.
