Welcome back to Yang's little corner of hell!
Ok so Yang loved the second immunity challenge. Yang had been looking for a way to "get the hell outta dodge" because he absolutely hated being on Kenitra. Brennus and Mitch were both useless tribemates who barely even showed up. Basically Yang wanted off that tribe and he wanted off fast because as stated in week 1, he did not feel secure there.
Along comes Immunity Challenge #2 and voila...Yang's escape route is born. With immunity challenge #2 there was a chance to win individual immunity by guessing what type of item you had. So Yang never planned on winning tribal immunity the second he saw this. Yang quickly sent in what his item was (probably before anyone else in the game let alone on his tribe) after conversing with a few of his contacts.
Yang knew he would win immunity if his tribe lost...but that wasn't a very big if because Yang was going to make sure his tribe lost? Why? Well its quite simple really...if Yang's tribe loses, then Yang already knows for sure he is safe, so Yang gets exactly what he wanted which was to go to a new tribe at the expense of Brennus and Mitch.
Did Yang care that they didnt know he had all the correct answers? No.
Did Yang care that they didnt know he was sending in a list of mostly wrong answers? No.
Did Yang care that he was single-handily destroying the Kenitra tribe? No.
Lastly, did Yang care that one of his tribe mates would suffer because of his sabotage? Hell No.
Yes, thats right, Yang threw the challenge so he could benefit himself and get onto a different tribe since Yang liked his chances much better on any of the other tribes (which goes back to what he said week 1 about having better foreign relations than domestic ones).
Yang sent Brennus packing simply because Mitch makes a better pawn. Brennus is stubborn and harder to make do what you want, with Mitch...Yang knew he was sending Dr. Will someone he might be able to manipulate in case he needed an extra vote on his tribe.
Not only did Yang get himself off that useless tribe, but he also tried to influence where he went. Yang talked to two big contacts (dragon and dr. will) and helped them both as much as he could so their tribes would win and Yang would join one of their tribes where he would already arrive there having contacts he could work with easily. Yang tried more to get onto Casablanca (Dr. Will's tribe), but they got 2nd, so Yang was still ok with going to Dragon's tribe since he had Dragon and a new partnership/deal with Veronica whom he had spoken to some.
Thats it for this entry...another coming in a few minutes with a bit of a different topic...
