Selah:
1. What were the reasons behind taking Jason to the final 2 over Bird Man?
Jason:
1. At what tribal council did you feel most vulnerable at? Which tribal council vote do you think benefited you the most?
TC 1: We voted Chet because he seemed very anti-social and unfriendly, so we decided that he probably wouldn't be part of overall plans much. We pretty easily talked everyone into it.
TC 4: I voted for Chad here because I thought he was a big threat and I trusted Dr. Will over Chad. Chad seemed to think he had the whole game figured out and I didn't want to work with him. Dr. Will ended up going.
TC 5: This was the TC where I screwed up the challenge by being out of town. Obviously I was the target, but I really wanted to target Chad here because he had threatened me and told me I was leaving. So I rallied Brighton and Selah, and Selah got CrabbyPatti on board, and we totally blindsided Chad.
TC 7: This was a showdown between Purple Rock and Brighton. I kind of knew Brighton was going here but I did try and rally a Purple Rock vote. I voted Purple Rock, but Brighton went. But we stacked a lot of votes on PR.
TC 8: At this point we had started working with Birdman and Zhan secretly. I was tipped off by Birdman that this tribal would be between me and Crabby and that if I wanted to survive I was going to have to cast a vote against Crabby. And I did. And she went. Though I am not sure I needed to for me to stay safe.
TC 9: Another tribal where it was between me and Nurse Joy. There were 8 of us left and we knew we needed to not tie here because I had a ton of previous votes. So I knew we had me, Selah, Birdman, Zhan but I didn't count on their side not voting together, so I eeked out and Nurse Joy went home.
TC 10: Another scary Tribal for ole Jason...it ended up being 2-2-2 and only one of us needed a vote to go home. Purple Rock ended up getting the vote, but this is where we (Selah and I) that Birdman and Zhan weren't the most reliable because we should have had 4 strong votes. At this point the power turned and our plan of picking the other side was working.
TC 11: So realizing that I had a ton of votes stacked, and that we had a F4 deal with Birdman, ZHP and Selah, it became very obvious to me that once we got to 4 that Birdman and ZHP were going to force a tie and send me out at 4th. So I knew I didn't want to vote out Birdman just yet because he did help me, but ZHP didn't really do anything for me. So I rallied Liz and Ray to join Selah and I to vote ZHP out and totally blindside him, making Birdman have to work with us and giving Selah and I all the power in the game. There was the worry that Eric would team up with Liz and Ray, but at that point Liz was not happy with Eric and I think she thought that she was with Selah and I.
TC 12: So at this point Selah really wanted Liz to go because she was such a challenge threat. Birdman decided to stack some votes on Liz and tell Liz and Ray to vote Selah, hoping that it would come into play for the final 4. Ultimately Selah, Birdman and I voted out Liz. I would have pushed for Ray here but he won immunity.
TC 13: It was very clear that Raymond needed to go here, though Selah and I thought very long and hard about getting rid of Birdman here. Selah was mad that Eric had people stack votes on her, and I knew he had deals with everyone and wouldn't take me to the final 2. Ultimately we decided to get rid of Raymond.
TC 14: Selah wins and decides.
SOCIALIZINGI socialized the most with Selah and Birdman, and probably the least with Nurse Joy.
HOW I PLAYEDI think I played a very good game. I think i was in danger a lot of times in this game and I pulled off what I needed to and stayed in the game. I also think I did this without pissing anyone off really. I wasn't sneaky or underhanded...I knew I was the target and I took the steps to save myself, and I hope that people respect that I was able to do that over and over again throughout the game. I think Selah and Birdman played wonderful games as well.
QUESTION 4I kind of answered this already in the strategy section, but I was definitely in trouble at TC 5 and then again at TC 9 onward. Ha. I always thought I was going to be honest with you. I talked to who I thought would be the swing votes every time and convinced them that I was not the threat, and it worked every single time.
QUESTION 5There's not a whole lot that the two of us did differently. I would say that Selah probably talked to EVERYONE a whole lot more than I did. I talked to a lot of people as much as I could, but I think that Selah definitely played the most social game. I think that I had to do a lot more work to stay in this game, and that would be the one major difference between Selah and I.
For my individual question, I kind of have answered it twice already.
